 Barkly Regional Arts' Youth Performing Arts program was established at the beginning of 2010 with the Regional Arts Fund - Remote Arts Partners in partnership with Australian Theatre for Young People, Beyond Empathy and The Song Room.
Theatre MOONX is Barkly Regional Arts’ community youth theatre company dedicated to youth expression through a range of art forms. It is supported by an extensive school holiday program by Australian Theatre for Young People and Beyond Empathy. Theatre MOONX engages and supports youth, community and cross-cultural exchange by empowering young people through their unique stories.
